Brussels / Vlissingen – Thursday, 19 March 2009
Marc Boriau (formerly of USG Innotiv) is joining XPE Engineering Belgium as Managing Director. Under Boriau's management XPE Engineering Belgium expects to accelerate its organic growth by focusing on recruitment & selection and the secondment of highly skilled workers in the Cleantech industry.
Mark De Smedt, Managing Director of XPE Group, sees a bright future for XPE Engineering: "Currently XPE Group is mainly strong in Belgium in the secondment and recruitment of specialist Pharma professionals via XPE Pharma, but also in the recruitment of international engineering professionals.
Backed by XPE Group's expertise and the infrastructure of Humares, XPE Engineering will provide a solution to the shortage of qualified staff in the fast-growing Cleantech industry."
The management of XPE Engineering will be headed by Marc Boriau. In 2005 he became Managing Director of Innotiv Engineering, part of the USG People Group. Prior to that (2000-2004) he gained broad experience in engineering staffing as Managing Director of Expectra. De Smedt: "Marc Boriau is just the right man for XPE Engineering. His extensive experience, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit are sure to help XPE Engineering become a reference in the Cleantech industry before long."
Leading a new generation of intermediaries
Marc Boriau is setting his sights high: "XPE Engineering wants to be the leader of a new generation of specialized global staffing intermediaries in a rapidly growing engineering segment - Cleantech. 'Cleantech' is the umbrella term for companies operating in the field of energy and environmental technology, including segments such as biofuels, solar panels, wind turbines and other alternative energy technologies.
