Within Facility Management Belgium, and reporting to the Head of Finance of Facility, you will be responsible for following tasks;

 

·         Initiate structural improvements within the domain of Facilities and embed necessary changes in the operating financial processes, policies and procedures.

o        Identify and document all financial processes within Facilities, document them and come up with improvements;

o        Ensure financial processes are SOX and audit compliant;

o        Look for continuous harmonization and rationalization intra-Facility;

·         Be the single point of contact within Facility for financial processes and be the interface between Facility and the SAP team.

o        Follow – up implementation new SAP tools;

o        Define Facilities’ requirements and translate them to the SAP team;

o        Follow up of Facilities’ needs with SAP ;

o        Participate in the steering committees of different projects (i.e. SAP AA);

o        Create in collaboration with SAP value adding reports for the cost controllers;

·         Liaise with relevant domains regarding open issues and provide support in resolving such issues.

·         Liaise with relevant support departments regarding accounting & reporting issues.

o        Translate relevant topics out of the accounting policy into facilities’ financial processes;

·         Monitor compliance of the finance network.

o        Ensure that all tools, used within Central Finance, are in place and consultable for the Cost controllers;

·         Look for continuous process improvements within Facility Finance.

 

Requirements

 

·         The Finance Process Controller needs to demonstrate a profound understanding of the finance & control processes, accounting and reporting in order to act as a sparring partner/advisor,

·         He/she should be analytical and logical thinker with a strong background in financial areas,

·         Experience in the facilitation of problem resolution,

·         In-depth SAP knowledge (SAP MM – CO – FI – AA – RE), Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools ( Excell – Word – Simple Macro’s)

·         Master degree in (Business) Economics, Accounting, Finance or Commercial Sciences
