The Cost Accountants main duties:

 

-          prepare management reporting;

-          analyze and monitor production variances;

-          prepare and analyze standard costs;

-          perform budget variance analysis, interpret results, identify issues and communication to the senior management;

-          prepare and manage the budget process;

-          perform financial analysis for investment projects;

-          perform CO monthly closing : WIP calculation, calculation and posting of production variances;

 

·         Education level:

 

- University degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Business

 

·         Experience:

 

- minimum 5 years relevant experience in a financial position as an auditor, cost accountant and/or financial analyst;

- Good knowledge of cost accounting and budgeting;

- Advanced knowledge of Excel is required;

- Knowledge of SAP/CO is a big plus;

- Experience in a manufacturing environment and an international context is an advantage.
