One of our clients, a designer and manufacturer of solutions for large screen projection, visualization for life-critical decision making and optical systems for visual inspection, is looking for a Senior Project Manager.

The Project Office Manager is responsible for steering a project management team on a daily and long term basis to ensure that all requirements and milestones for the different projects are met and to achieve/maximize customer satisfaction and internal productivity.
He/she is the end responsible for all project activities related to the installation and testing of LED displays for architectural, sports and/or digital signage applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Steer and follow up the overall daily performance of the project managers
- Develop and implement various KPI's to ensure performance to customer expectations and monitor group as required. Report to management on forecasted and achieved results and kpi's
- Define the required tools, processes and methodology to enable the people involved in the project delivery process, to execute the project deployment strategy and achieve these goals
- Identify potential problems, troubleshoot and participate in analysis of problems providing input for future process/design improvements
Interface with Operations, R&D, and product management, as well as Sales & Marketing, in order to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence.
- Handle escalation of project issues from customers, partners or internal stakeholders. Organize assistance from other parts of the organization.
- Ensure customer communication and defines all required actions to regain customer confidence and satisfaction
- Define improvement programs to reduce/optimize the project deployment cost, schedule and quality

Competences & Skills:

- Master in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience ;
- Fluent in English, French, Dutch ;
- Specific experience in people management and project management (8+ years) in a technical/commercial environment ;
- Pragmatic and practically/action oriented, implementer (less: thinker)
- Capability to align a process on a global scale by working together with responsible in USA, Middle East and APAC ;
- Knowledge in the installation of LED signs is highly desirable;
