For our client we are looking for a Senior Expert Wind Energy (m/v) for Project Development in Flanders.

Key Responsibilities:

In order to consolidate our leading market position in wind energy expert services and renewable energy, we are looking for a motivated engineer (m/f) to join our wind energy team. With support of the other team members' experience in wind energy resource assessment and project development, your tasks will consist of:

• Study of the technical and economical feasibility of wind energy projects, 
• Analysis of wind farm layouts, environment study 
• Guidance to project developers in conception and realisation of wind energy projects

Competences & Skills:

• Trained as an industrial engineer, agricultural engineer or bachelor in environmental sciences, or equivalent through experience
• Basic technical education and strong interest for renewable energies 
• Five or more years relevant work experience 
• An experience in SIG, environmental permitting and spatial planning or similar technical background is an asset
• Very strong organisational capabilities 
• Accurate with a strong eye for details 
• Proven track-record in project management 
• Technical mindset combined with commercial flair 
• Good presentation skills and ability to actively participate to discussion groups 
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills 
• Analytical mind and innovative and creative spirit 
• Very good interpersonal skills 
• Experience in management of a small team is an asset 
• As the projects are based mainly in Flanders, fluent knowledge of Dutch (mother tongue level) is an absolute requirement. Good knowledge of English and/or   French required. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
