Company:
One of our clients, a designer and manufacturer of solutions for large screen projection, visualization for life-critical decision making and optical systems for visual inspection, is looking for a Customer Service Engineer.
The Project Office Manager is responsible for steering a project management team on a daily and long term basis to ensure that all requirements and milestones for the different projects are met and to achieve/maximize customer satisfaction and internal productivity.
He/she is the end responsible for all project activities related to the installation and testing of LED displays for architectural, sports and/or digital signage applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve escalated service issues : quality and design issues being escalated from the 1st line support ;
- Follow up of Reliability- and Design Issues: ensures structural- and regular data collection ;
- Service Planning for New Products: gets involved in the introduction of new equipment in the field (learning, service planning purposes, spare part handling, ...) ;
- Training Development: collects knowledge from R&D for new products), completes existing and basic reference material from existing R&D sources for training purposes (Installation-, User-, and Serice Manuals, ...)
- Technical Knowledge Transfer: collects and maintains a technical Knowledge Data Base in a yet to be defined tool for sharing purposes
- Assists/performs product demonstrations - tradeshow or other events.
Competences & Skills:
- Technical bachelor, or higher, or equivalent through experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in a customer service job
- Ability to schedule and perform assignments/solutions independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Air travel required (20 % worldwide)
