One of our clients, a designer and manufacturer of solutions for large screen projection, visualization for life-critical decision making and optical systems for visual inspection, is looking for a Commodity Purchase Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

- You are responsible for the purchase of a certain commodity. You select suppliers and assign items to potential suppliers.
- You negotiate agreements and contract between the company and supplier in order to maximize value (price, flexibility, risk, product advantage, etc.). In case of custom made components, you guard meticulously the co-development process.
- The purchasing executive has ownership (on levels and subjects) of the relationship created between the company and the supplier. You create a long-term profitable relationship with your suppliers.
- You review regularly your suppliers and manage them to perform their commitments on a continuous basis.
- Finally you assist the Logistic Buyers in case of deviations form contractual agreement.

As driven professional, you excel in knowledge on product, markets, suppliers and contracting techniques.

Competences & Skills:

- Education: Engineer or Commercial Engineer with hi-tech affinity; or equal by experience
- Languages: English, French; German or other languages are welcome.
- Skills: excellent communication, negotiation and relation building skills.
- Personality: integer, entrepreneurial, eager to learn, taking initiative and meticulous, emotional intelligent, goal oriented.
