XPE is looking for a(n) Electronics engineer (m/f):

- You act as project engineer responsible to develop the part/system in close collaboration with supplier and others divisions which are part of the system development.
- As a member of the Electronics Engineering team, you are responsible for the development of vehicle control electronic parts and systems (Braking support system, vehicle stability control, ADAS …) and investigation on future European technologies.
- This includes the overall project planning, budget control, following up progress of development, proceeding parts/system development with European supplier (system development , system/part FMEA from early phase until start of production and ensure quality, continuous improvement and cost reduction possibility).

Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre in Zaventem (Brussels) is responsible for:
- Developing vehicles and making concept proposal for EU core models.
- Reflecting EU technology to Toyota Vehicles timely by utilizing location advantage and strong network with EU partners.

The Electronics Engineering Division is responsible for design circuit diagram specifications and design the routing of vehicle wiring harness (Hybrid/Engine and Cabin compartment).
We are also responsible for project management related issues (cost, lead-time, quality report).

Requirements:

- Electronics or Electro-mechanical degree
- 3 years experience in Automotive or aircraft area
- Good technical capability
- Ability for CAD systems (CATIA V5 is an asset)
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Self-motivator
- Team worker
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English; other European language or Japanese is an asset
- Willing to travel frequently (30%)
- Possibility of training in our main technical centre in Toyota Japan
