A specialist in energy engineering, conventional or renewable
Fossil fuels are still an important source of energy but their importance is declining rapidly, with new types of energy providing serious alternatives more and more often.
The specialists at XPE Engineering are actively involved in different types of power generation. Our specialties in the area of energy can be split up into two segments:
Conventional energy is power generated from non-renewable sources such as oil, gas, coal and uranium. There is no production of natural gas in Belgium, so our expertise in this domain is focused on the transportation and distribution of resources coming from outside our borders.
It’s no secret that the world cannot keep devouring fossil fuels at the current pace. Clean technology (cleantech) aims to find solutions to this problem.
Cleantech can be divided in three main areas:
- alternative sources of energy such as wind energy, solar energy and biomass
- green technology aimed at sparing the environment
- energy-efficient measures to ensure that less energy is needed to achieve the same result
The job market for people with specific knowledge and relevant experience in clean technology is set to grow strongly in the coming years. At XPE Engineering, we want to share our know-how with our network of professionals and clients active in this industry in the Benelux. We act as an intermediary for jobs in all areas of the clean technology industry and, as a specialist in contracting, recruitment & selection and outsourcing for the entire energy sector, we connect qualified candidates with leading companies for such positions as:
